Counsel

Kenneth Tiangco, Esq

Kenneth Tiangco brings nearly three decades of experience representing stake holders in all aspects of residential and commercial closings. Ken has extensive experience in all phases of the real estate transaction including: representation of buyers and sellers; clearing and closing of title for abstract companies; assignment of mortgages; drafting and preparing CEMAs and accompanying documents; Coop closings including preparation of UCC 1's, 3's and Recognition agreements.

Prior to focusing his efforts on transactional real estate, Ken worked in the litigation departments of two major law firms where he focused on document review and analysis in complex securities and employment litigation matters. With this background in litigation, Ken brings a forward looking approach to drafting transactional documents: Understanding that each phrase drafted could end up the linchpin of a litigation, Ken drafts documents to improve, to the extent possible, the odds of success in the event litigation unfolds.

Prior to entering the private sector, Ken clerked for the Honorable Matthew F. Coppola of the New York Supreme Court where he researched and wrote legal memoranda and drafted decisions concerning civil issues such as medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death.

Ken received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his law degree from Pace University School of Law where he was a Senior Associate with the Pace Environmental Law Review. Ken is admitted to New York and Connecticut Bars as well as the bars of the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York.
